This session will explore how digital technologies, AI and Earth intelligence are being effectively deployed in climate extreme settings to accelerate progress towards the 2030 Agenda. Bringing together policymakers, researchers, UN and International Geneva stakeholders and practitioners, the session will highlight the latest digital and AI for climate innovations and developments at the climate technology science–policy interface, with a focus on scalable, inclusive and actionable solutions in line with UN SDGs 9 and 17. The event will share expert insights and include an interactive workshop demonstrating a novel technology framework developed by researchers at Imperial College London.
