Dr. Arslan's Short Bio:
Dr. Arslan is a senior scientist at the Arctic Space Centre of the Space and Earth Observation Department at the Finnish Meteorological Institute in Helsinki, Finland and Finnish Delegate of the European Union Space Programme Committee – Copernicus User Forum. Dr. Arslan is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Vaasa in Finland and Guest Professor at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy. His research interests are Earth Observation and its applications into science and society.
Dr. Arslan has conducted various workshops, trainings and keynote speeches at national (public and private sector) and international (Asia: China, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore; South America: Mexico and Chile; Africa: South Africa and Tanzania) on Copernicus programme from data access to applications with Copernicus services.
