GEOCRI Officially Endorsed as an Initiative for Post2025 in Rome

The Global Earth Observations Cold Regions Initiative (GEOCRI) has been formally endorsed as an Initiative under the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Post-2025 Strategy. 

The announcement was made during the inaugural GEO Global Forum 2025, held in Rome from May 5–9, under the theme “The Earth Talks”, where global leaders, policymakers, and scientists convened to advance Earth Intelligence for sustainable development.
